Les Canardises

A whole duck breast cooked in the Montreal Smoked meat style. To be served with rye bread, mustard and pickles. Or as a shredded duck breast, with potatoes, fresh pasta, on a homemade pizza etc.

Original Idea Les Canardises :

Serve with lightly toasted Ciabatta bread, with walnut or Espelette pepper mustard and pickles. You can also replace the mustard with Dijon sauce. (Don't forget to brush the bread generously with stock). Warm up, right from the can, in a pan of simmering water, for about 10 min. You can also empty the contents of the can in a saucepan and reheat over low heat. The can is easy to open.
